Positive: Such a lovely hotel and they always leave bowls and treats out for the dogs. Restaurant is undergoing renovation and has only added to its excellence. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. The chateau itself is wonderful as are the grounds and nice walks for the dogs. Highly recommend.

Negative: No thing that was out of place.

Summary: Wonderful hotel in beautiful surroundings with first class service.

Positive: This was our first château on a long list during our road trip through Burgundy and Champagne. At first, we turned our noses up a bit — it felt not quite cozy enough. But having driven through all the so-called luxury châteaux of the region, we have to admit: this one is 100% the best. It's new! And there's none of that stale, musty smell of ancient walls.

Negative: Breakfast, however, is terrible — definitely skip it. A huge, unwelcoming dining room with an ugly, stuffy interior and a shameful selection of food. This region has so much wholesome, quality, delicious produce, but you won't find any of it here. The coffee is awful too. And service is nowhere to be found — on top of which, the smell and dirty tables are never cleaned up. A truly dreadful impression.

Summary: The best château in the region, without a doubt.

Positive: Staff were very welcoming. The location in the midst of vineyards, yet less than 15 minutes from the motorway was convenient. The Chateau is stunning with far reaching views, it has good parking. Excellent restaurant.

Negative: There are about 60 rooms at the Chateau, we were allocated a spacious duplex in an additional building, We didn't like the lengthy walk down several uninteresting and slightly sad corridors to access our room. Unfortunately there was a problem with the heating in the main Chateau during our stay so we were a little chilly.

Positive: The chateau was beautiful and the restaurant, bar and courtyard were lovely.

Negative: The rooms are in a motel style block in the grounds. They are clean and spacious, but they are very dated (1980’s style) and pretty shabby. The grounds are a bit run down too and don’t appear very cared for.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay, but I wouldn’t stay again or recommend, as it was generally run down.
