Positive: Stay in an enchanting castle Friendly staff Flair of bygone times

Negative: Room very worn, dirty, and with torn curtains. No drinks or refrigerator. The kettle had old water and bugs swimming in it. Very unkempt. Second room with children's beds too short for adults, thick duvet in the middle of summer. Terrace access covered in bird droppings, dirty table, and only two chairs for three people. No Wifi access .

Positive: Absolutely loved the gentle excellence about every element of it - understated but exceptional across the board, from freshly made juices at breakfast to gorgeous bed linens, bathroom soaps and bedroom teas were chosen for their quality not their price - and that was clear throughout.

Positive: The setting was beautiful and we were excited to be given a tour of the chateau and the grounds by a very knowledgeable guide.

Negative: It was a tricky place to find, and as there was no food close by we decided to go into Dieppe in the evening for supper.

Summary: It was our first night in France and it was a lovely place to visit.

Positive: The gardens and an impressive looking building.

Negative: We stayed in the tower room and was a bit tired looking / decor. Appreciate it’s an old chateau but I think more of an effort could be made with the rooms. We were a bit disappointed / underwhelmed with the Chateau stay experience!
