Positive: The house was lovely and so was the pool on a hot afternoon. The hosts were attentive and friendly. There was a lovely bakery in the town where we got our morning pastries and bread. Would highly recommend.

Negative: The location of the house is quite isolated.

Positive: Fabulous, newly renovated Orangerie full of personal details. Marie was there to greet us and hand over keys. The rooms were all tastefully decorated and the beds were lovely. We only wish we had more time and better weather to make the most of the many amenities. Gilles was delightful at checkout. What a lovely family.

Positive: We were a group of 3 families renting both gites which had been newly refurbished. Nicely decorated with comfortable beds and excellent tennis court. The couple looking after the house were kind and attentive but the pool is attached to their house so music and loud noise by the pool were not allowed to avoid disturbing them. This significantly affected our enjoyment of our stay. Nearby town of Loches is beautiful. Very good cycling area. Good access to Loire Valley chateaux and vinyards

Negative: Noise controls by pool and in front of the gites to avoid disturbing the owners. No WiFi when we arrived despite advertising this on Web site. They set up WiFi on day 3 but signal was weak and only accessible in a couple of rooms. Kitchen is undersized if you take both gites as a single group Both gites are close to the main house which is occupied by the owner and his family. This makes noise control a big issue.

Summary: Mixed experience. Delightful house.Good facilities. But noise restrictions reduced our enjoyment
