Positive: It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend. The room is spacious and comfortable. We spent the whole day by the pool and had a very good breakfast the next morning. Even got to enjoy the pool the next morning as well because checkout is at noon! Will definitely come back again!

Positive: The garden is big and nice for a disgestive walk after dinner. The host offered to book us a restaurant in town based on our preferences. The city of Vichy has been and still is being beautifully restored.

Negative: The breakfast was somewhat below expectations: no hot milk for the coffee, only cold bold eggs (that were difficult to peel) and on the second day of our stay no tables were set for the breakfast. None of these this are big issues but it doesn't contribute to good feeling about the price/quality ratio. The entry and access to the grounds, the building and the room are a bit cumbersome with different codes and systems. Due to a private event, the pool wasn't available for the guest during one evening of our stay.

Positive: Owner is very nice and responsive, large garden and quiet place, good breakfast

Negative: Normally domaine guests have access to the salon or similar, here it was really restrictive. Entrance is separate, access to the room and garden only. No area to sit and no common area. There is a swimming pool, but it is not a place to sit and read etc. Rooms were ok, I really did not like the bathroom door (sliding door, not a good idea..). Price for the room is high, we expected higher quality for a price and we travel all other France and Europe. This is a price of some 4 star hotels, and clearly this is a 3+ place.
