Positive: The Room was exceptionally big. The feeling of sleeping in a medieval castle without giving up on the comfrorts of a luxury Hotel. The hosts are very kind and available. will definitely consider it for the future :)
Negative: There is no possibility to eat at the place, unless you organize a starred meal with personal cheff. So if you are just passing through you need to take it into account.

Positive: Absolutely gorgeous château! The bed room was stunning, and the grand bathroom was a true luxury. Peaceful and quaint, my husband and I enjoyed every moment of our stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. For my birthday, we hired a private chef and had a wonderful gastronomic meal. The chef was not only talented but also very sociable, making the evening feel special. We would definitely go back!

Positive: The Chateau is very luxurious. Maintained by the owners more or less alone so very peaceful without the bustle you might find with hotel staff. Being so quiet, it's very safe for the children who loved to explore the grounds and play in the pool. It is very beautifully set on the side of a valley in the countryside of the Dordogne.
Negative: Finding restaurants open can be a challenge, some days they are completely shut, when open the kitchens often close at 1.30pm, not reopening until 7.30pm. We did find a restaurant in Riberac, however, which was always open.
Summary: We had a blissful stay at Chateau de Belet and look forward to returning.

Positive: we could not fault anything about the place facilities or the hospitality shown by the owners, we stay in exclusive chateau's in France every year and this has to be one of the very best we have experienced so far

Positive: The chateau stay was like a dream come through. We had the most amazing time there, Jennifer & Don coul not have done any more to have made our stay so memorable. We loved the United Nations dinner evening organised by the owners. A French local chef coked delicious French food for us.. it was extra special
