Positive: The facility was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together. You can tell the manager really paid attention to the details—everything you might need during your stay was already in place. The room came with a mini refrigerator and even a bottle opener, which was a nice touch. In the bathroom, there was a sewing kit and a first-aid kit, showing just how prepared they are for guests’ comfort and convenience. One of my favorite features was the outdoor kitchen area. It was fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, tea cups—basically everything you’d need if you wanted to prepare your own meals. It added a warm, home-away-from-home vibe to the stay. The location truly lived up to its name, “Centrally Located.” It’s only about a 10-minute walk to the town, which made getting around incredibly easy. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for comfortable and well-appointed accommodation in Portland, Jamaica.

Positive: I was so happy with everything here. Marie and her family is super friendly and we had nice chats. Location is safe and perfect for walking in the town area and to catch a transport. There is all you need in this modern room and for preparing meals in the outdoor kitchen. Knutsford bus terminal is around 20 minutes walking distance by foot but also route taxis are available. I would definitely stay again!

Positive: The room had everything provided needed for a nice and comfortable stay. The host was super friendly and hospitable making sure everything was ok. We had an issue with the rental car and she helped us out a lot. The outdoor kitchen is perfect to cook meals and the location is ideal to explore the nearby beaches. The room was spacious and super clean.

Positive: Very nice room at the back of a private house with a separate entrance. Location is in a sidestreet of the main road, so walking distance to supermarket and shops, .... Marie is extremely helpful and also forwarded a local guidebook. She also arranged a taxi to bring us to Knutsford bus early in the morning and woke up to say goodbye to us ! In the room you have a kettle , fridge and toaster. Outside there is a gas stove and sitting area. Very nicely done ! Moreover, the bathroom is ecellent with very nice towels and walk in shower. Another bonus is Netflix if you would need it.

Negative: Cash paymeny only, in JMD or USD which is understandable. The bed was a normal sized double and to us rather small.

Positive: Ms Marie is one of the best hosts i've EVER encountered! Her property is the cleanest I've ever stayed at. I love the lil touches of technology, like the touch-free soap dispenser for your hands. The artwork on the wall makes it feel homely. The room consists of several things including a fridge, mini oven, desk, a bag containing beach towels, kettle, cutlery, spare towels /bedsheets, & more. The location is a walking distance to most things, or a taxi service. Ms Marie kindly dropped me off to Frenchman's cove, as it was on the route to her work. I really appreciated such a kind gesture, and I loved how she shared some history about Port Antonio, with me. She also created a list of things to see/eat which came in really handy! It rained quite a bit while I was there, so the TV which has useful apps such as Netflix & YouTube, came in very handy! Did I mention HOW CLEAN THIS PLACE IS??? Honestly, I am absolutely going to be back here soon (hopefully there will be less rain when I do!)
