Summary: We stayed here on October for a wedding and fell in love with the house and the location. It was the perfect place to spend the week of Christmas with family. The house was beautifully decorated for the holiday! There had been a snowfall on Christmas Eve, so the ground was snow covered and beautiful with the Christmas tree lit in front room. Summary: We had such an amazing time visiting your home. It was laid out perfectly for our group of 4. Plenty of space to be together or apart, whichever you needed. We can’t wait until our next stay in December! From my sister in law: My brother and sister in law invited me and my daughter to stay the weekend here with them, knowing that it might help to get away for a bit after my husband passed away. What a great weekend it was and what a fantastic place to spend it! I’m big on history and relaxing on a beautiful autumn weekend in this wonderful house was a great experience. Besides all of the history displayed here, it was so comfortable as well. It was very impressive the way the house preserved its beginnings, but had every modern convenience. Plus, there were so many added extra touches throughout this home, just to make it that much more enjoyable. I hadn’t slept so well or comfortably in quite a while, and was sorry when the weekend came to an end. We enjoyed our stay inside and out here, and are looking forward to coming back to this wonderful home- thank you for making it available!
