Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Good location, massive open plan kitchen/ dining/ living space. Decent size bathroom and showers. Decent size bedrooms

Negative: Multiple missing amenities. No kettle. No bowls just plates, no other tableware. No tv remote so no tv. The dishwasher was sat packed with all the cutlery and some of the cooking utensils, upon opening it we found it smelled very unpleasant and guessed it has been run some time ago so opted to run it again. The apartment has no cooling/climate control/ air con. It was HOT. So hot it was difficult to sleep. All the heaters were turned up when we arrived, and even after turning them all down it was still unbearably hot. And there’s one window that opens and it’s in the living/dining/kitchen open plan near the tele. Not helpful. Also no blind or privacy screen for the window that runs the length of the large open plan, just completely on display outside of the bedrooms. One of the beds is very rickety and therefore a good night’s sleep is hard to come by. Also the bedrooms have light switches but no overhead lights. There’s one plug by the bed and lamps for light so you have to choose between charging personal electronics and having a light. No welcome package or even instructions, apart from the location on the outside bins. The first address given was incorrect and it wasn’t until we said danish friends had been round and checked and found the address was definitely wrong did the company provide us with the correct address and information. The lock for the door to the building, not the apartment, was somewhat broken. It was very difficult to unlock if closed. Most of the time it was left open by people so they didn’t get locked out.

Summary: Disappointed. Great space and location but poor furnishing and maintenance let it down.
