Summary: Staff was really really helpful and friendly (and English-speaking). My only negative is that the road outside is INCREDIBLY noisy: if you’re there in summer, request a back-facing room on the 3rd floor. We had to switch rooms it was so bad. That said, there’s like only 2 hotels in Winnenden, so you don’t have a lot of choice. The rooms were good for the inexpensive price.

Summary: Nice hotel with free parking and a good restaurant right in the same building. A buffet breakfast was included in the price. You need a car to get to the sights, because the town is not that exciting. If you have a room that faces the street, you might find it noisy because the street is used by a lot of commercial traffic even in the evening and early morning. The room is nice and comfortable. The bathroom is good.
