Positive: This apartment is situated right next to a number of reasonably priced bars which have excellent food. It's well-stocked with crockery, including extras, like a number of different ways to make coffee, and a huge teapot. It really feels like you're staying in someone's house, because it's warm and comfortable, and there are a number of nice touches such as big houseplants and yoga mats you can use. Would hugely recommend this as a place to stay for a while, we certainly felt like one night was too short a stay here!

Negative: The apartment is up three flights of stairs, and does not have step-free access to the amenities, so not fantastic for anyone with limited mobility

Positive: We absolutely loved the stay in Bergen at this flat, we felt at home. The flat is equipped with everything and more, we enjoyed the board games especially. In the kitchen you will find everything, even spices, coffee, oils, rice and more. The owner is very considerate and caring which is really rare in this quality we got here. We got extra heaters since it was huge snow outside, she brought us a handy coffee machine, extra towels and even baked fresh norwegian buns with tasty egg cream one night(boller) . The location is absolutely gorgeous in a peaceful neighbourhood in the center, so all in all, this is the best stay we ever had through booking, and we have our fair share of experiences, mostly good ones. We would warmly, warmly recommend this place for anyone who travels to Bergen.

Negative: Be prepare for steep 3 flights of stairs, we were expecting it, so it was OK.

Positive: Very pleasant apartment with a very well equipped kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, pots and frying pan, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery, some very much appreciated supplies like coffee, oil, salt, pepper, etc; bedrooms are also very spacious and comfortable; location is very central — only 8 minutes east walk to the Byparken light rail terminus and similarly to the Hurtigruten terminal; excellent for people doing a trip with the Hurtigruten ferry; the hosts live next door and are very welcoming.

Negative: It’s on top-most floor — this wouldn’t be a problem for younger people (or older people travelling with younger able-bodied people) but may prove a challenge for older folk especially if they are travelling with heavy bags

Summary: Excellent value for money — will come stay again when we visit Bergen

Positive: What a fabulous apartment! Absolutely everything about it was superb - such friendly hosts, the apartment is full of character, warm, comfortable and immaculately clean, and excellent value for money in a great location. As it's on the top floor, there are stairs to climb and the apartment floor is uneven - it all adds to the charm of the place and while may not work for some guests, it caused zero problems for us. It's a nice opportunity to stay in a home rather than a hotel and the little touches are warm and apparent. We loved the sound of the rain on the ceiling windows and being in a vibrant area full of life was lovely too. We had a super early flight in the morning, and it was easy to book a taxi online, which was waiting outside the door at 5.30am as the address is very easy to locate.

Summary: A fantastic apartment in every way.
