Positive: Looking out onto open farm greenery and sheep. Having a bbq. Having the outside space. Nice layout of the home. Beds are comfy. Welcoming brownies were lovely.

Negative: It needs some light maintenance

Positive: It's a lovely secluded spot, with views across beautiful fields full of sheep and east access to Alice Holt. The kitchen was well equipped, though no dishwasher or washing machine.

Negative: The wifi was patchy. The TV wouldn't connect to the wifi.

Negative: Directions poor….We were looking for Cedar Lodge and nowhere in the address on the booking form, did it mention that the lodge was on a farm with a completely different name….very poorly signposted both from the road and from the parking area/we had no idea where to find the lodge from the parking area and quite a walk in pouring rain. No welcome pack Sheep and unfortunately their poohs all over the garden and path. No emergency numbers to report a dead sheep as we were told owners away/we never saw another soul apart from other lodge occupiers. Keys on table although we were sent a code for key safe…..just confusing. Salt and pepper set for table would be appreciated. I have been visiting UK for 14 years and have stayed in many B and Bs and I just felt a little more attention to detail tissues,shower gel/soap etc would be appreciated.

Positive: Although I was a bit scared when we arrived however everything was excellent throughout our stay. Big rooms, waking up to the animals was so good. Felt natural

Negative: The property owner was available through phone calls. However, i think a receptionist on site would have been grateful in case of emergency .

Positive: Fabulous! Owners went out of their way to make a family reunion exceptional! It even snowed on our Christmas rerun which made it very magical. Highly recommend!! Very genuine people cant fault them!

Positive: The amazing view. The comfortable furnishings. Despite a couple of freezing nights, the lodge was warm and cosy. The walks in the area and straight from the door were really good.
