Positive: I loved the courtyard. A short walk from our room. They had tables with cushions on the chairs, and umbrellas. The 2 pools were located here and the really nice dining room where breakfast was served was also located here. This was great for me because I was traveling with my dog. The buffet breakfast was the best I’ve had in comparison to other hotels. The staff was very friendly and the location was out of the congestion of Ithaca, but conveniently located close to major routes and shopping and gas
Negative: Unfortunately I couldn’t use the outdoor pool because physically I was not able to climb the ladder to get in or out. It was unheated, which my sister loved….cold plunge. I did use the indoor pool, which was nice.
Summary: I will definitely book here again

Positive: The location is excellent for visiting the Cornell Ornithological Lab. The breakfast was very good: scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit and so on. Much better than most hotels. The staff was excellent. The outdoor pool was great but cold while the indoor pool was warm but shallow.
Negative: We could not open the windows of our room. The hall way need to be cleaned better could use a new carpet.
Summary: For the price this is an excellent choice for Ithaca.

Positive: Super convenient! Can’t say enough about how great the staff is! Friendly, courteous and willing to go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one!!
Negative: Rooms were a bit worn. Paint was bubbles on the bathroom ceiling and rust in the sink & on the fixtures. Ceramic coating was peeling from the tub soap dish.
