Positive: Apartment is beautiful, everything works as expected.

Negative: Was able to accommodate our last minute request at a decent price which was much appreciated. But got a word salad inaccurate message with "directions" (could just say look for it on Google maps!) so it was hard to find. Keys were not at the expected place, had to call host who had a bad attitude "Book somewhere else" seriously??. Place is extremely noisy (right across a busy bar which thankfully closes at 1am but not earlier). Stairs leading up to the apartment FULL of cat poop no one seems to clean. Smells accordingly. Of course we stepped in it. Apartment isn't well maintained - we opened the blinds and parts of it fell on the street. We had very little linen no blankets kids were cold all night

Positive: Absolutely beautiful and lovely decorated apartment in the heart of Kotor Old Town. It was located right next to shops and restaurants, and easy to get to. It had two spacious bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom - every room nicely decorated with great attention to details. It was comfortable with A/C and everything we needed during our stay. From the bedrooms we had a lovely view over the narrow streets of the old town. The owner was the kindest host we have ever encountered and she was very generous. This is a hidden gem and we highly recommend booking it. Thank you so much!

Positive: Great location and unique atmosphere, but communication with staff could be improved The apartment is in a great location. It's very unique and atmospheric — one bed is a waterbed and the other is a regular one. Staying there feels like being in ancient times, which was quite a fun and different experience. The apartment is not very bright, but that was actually a plus for us, as it stayed cool even during hot weather. Cleanliness was at a decent level. The shower is in the toilet, and there’s a bathtub in the room which we didn’t use. Check-in was smooth. We had asked about early check-in, but didn’t receive an answer. Fortunately, the previous guests had already left, so we were able to leave our luggage early without any issues. Just make sure to ask well in advance if you plan to leave your bags before official check-in — I believe the hosts would be accommodating. The staff eventually arrived and kindly changed and washed the bed sheets for us.

Negative: The only issue happened after we had already checked out. Almost a day later, the host started calling and messaging, saying they couldn’t close the washing machine and blamed us for it. There was a washing machine — we had put a few clothes inside and added some detergent, but then noticed it had a lock on it. We didn’t use it in the end and had to remove our clothes and dry them in the shower area instead. Despite this, the host insisted we had used the machine, which simply wasn’t true — the lock couldn’t be opened without breaking it. I even tried to help by finding instructions in Serbian on how to reset the machine, but the host kept messaging, suggesting we were responsible. Most likely, the machine is just old and a small part broke on its own. All in all, the apartment is very nice and we truly enjoyed our stay — apart from this unfortunate situation at the end.

Positive: The host was very friendly and answered questions "how to find the appartment" (he sent us driving directions however not all pitstops were clear to us). The place is inside the old town and perfect foe the family of adult people or with grown up kids - just to enjoy the old city. Please note that the appartment is on the 2nd floor (1 stair from the ground).

Negative: The place is a bit noisy because one of the most popular pubs is right under the appartment. There is NO parking in the old town and all apartments in the old town are in same condition ' you have to park the car close to the river gate on hourly parking (from 80c to 2e per h), move the luggage, then re-park the car around 15-20 min walking distance in the less occupied part of the city. The appartment is clean in visible places however don't look under the bed ;)
