Positive: My husband and I stayed at Cathy’s home for 10 days. The accommodation is exceptional. Big, bright spacious and exceedingly clean. Everything you could wish for is available. Anita collected us from the airport and went to great lengths to ensure we had a great holiday. Which we did.

Negative: There is nothing about the property I didn’t like other than it was a little too quiet. Several days we had the 3 pools to ourselves. It would have been nice to see some other signs of life. The property is 0.7km back from the beach, which seems ok but it has a very steep gradient, a real heart breaker 😅 taxis are available though. Puerto de Santiago is a very quiet area generally. We did want a less robust holiday now that we both are in our 60’s but this area was just too quiet for us. This is no reflection on Cathy or Anita, they were wonderful and went beyond the call of duty.

Positive: The location was ideal for both coastal activities and visiting the national park. Within the city, it was just out of the high traffic areas, and thus very peaceful but yet convenient.

Negative: We had no particular issues. Minor matters were discussed with the host, who was very attentive to our needs.

Positive: Beautiful, comfortable, well equipped apartment. Lots of little extras, which make it stand out from a usual rental property. Amazing outside space, with comfortable seating, sunbeds, eating area and bbq, with a choice of sun or shade. Exercise equipment provided for those wanting to keep ticking over whilst away. I enjoyed doing yoga and pilates on the terrace of a morning, while it was still cool. Amazing hosts (Cathy and Anita), both of whom were always available to us, and nothing was too much trouble. Location was perfect for us. We enjoy walking, but if you're not too mobile, it's a short taxi ride (4 euros) to bars and restaurants. Couldn't get any closer to a large Mercadona supermarket, literally a few minutes walk away! We didn't find the need for a car, as everything is walking distance and there's an excellent cheap bus service to visit other parts of the island.

Negative: Nothing!!

Positive: The host is very nice, friendly and helpful in every way! The apartment is very nice and comfortable. We went there for our honeymoon and we had so special welcome made to us. The photos and description is very accurate.
