Positive: We got upgraded to a room with a view and honestly, what a view Breakfast had a good selection Staff was very nice, communicative Dog! We were able to check in a little earlier with no charges

Negative: The floor was crooked a bit - I put a bottle on the floor and it started rolling I couldn't figure out how to make the AC work. Probably user error but it was around 20° so no real issues there The beds creak when you look at them wrong

Positive: The view from our room was spectacular! Couldn't ask for a better view of the mountain. Mornings are especially wonderful. The booking came with a breakfast, which was lovely and fast serving. The staff are wonderful and super helpful. The location was fantastic, just a few minutes walk to the famous Cat Cat Village. Would recommend.

Negative: On our last day, the water ran out due to some faulty pipes but they fixed it right away.

Positive: Beautiful design in a fantastic location. Staff very friendly and helpful

Negative: Expensive to stay, eat, drink or take ‘excursions’ Pool was unheated thus practically unusable.

Summary: Plenty of great hotels with similar view. If your budget is unlimited why not. If budget is a thing keep looking

Positive: Amazing location for the views! Dzun was very helpful who made it smooth for us to move around, she also booked Fansipan tickets for us. She was always available on WhatsApp for support which is great. Spacious rooms.

Negative: Short staffed, we had to carry our luggage through lots of stairs ourselves. 3% surcharge on credit card payment or pay by cash, who carries so much cash to pay for a hotel booking! .. so had to pay 3% extra than the amount shown on booking.com! Would have preferred paying on booking.com but there was no option for it. Constant traffic so kinda noisy during the day. Everything in the rooms was not working. Showers, ACs, called the housekeeping but did not help. Toiletries were not present but they brought it when we informed them. Arrived one evening and the rooms weren't cleaned, towels weren't changed. Rented bikes from them at much higher prices than the local price.

Positive: Most incredible views. Comfy beds. Good AC. Really quiet compared to other places in Sapa and even further up the hill in Catcat.

Negative: Pool was filthy so not able to use which was a shame as that was a big reason why we booked to have a swim after a couple of days hiking. Staff did empty it the following day but wasn’t able to be used while we were there.
