Positive: We had a really nice time at Casuta dintre brazi, it is close to the end of the road so it was very quiet, we haven’t really seen any people or cars. There is a large yard which is only partially fenced, so be careful if you bring a dog. Otherwise it’s like in a fairytale - especially if it snows. The house is equipped with everything necesessary, but it’s not a luxury cabin and can get very cold in winter, so you have to keep the fire going, which means chopping wood, bringing it it, putting it on the fire every 30 minutes or so. We knew this, and loved the sound and smell of burning wood, but it might not be for everybody.

Negative: There is no heating in the bathroom. We left the door open and heated it from the kitchen, but it’s not very efficient. Outlets, door handles need a bit of maintenance, and the water pressure is quite low, but these can all be expected in an old cabin.

Summary: There is room for improvement, but no major issues, we enjoyed our stay very much and will most likely return 🙂

Positive: Beautiful area, nice traditional house adapted to offer comfort and utility.

Negative: The bathroom is a bit small and there was no recycle bin in it, but other than that, the accommodation is very nice.
