Positive: Location was amazing Property was like a home from home, equipped with everything you could need even down to proper pans and utensils. Little touches like having blankets with the rocking chairs was fabulous 😀😀

Positive: The location by the loch was simply stunning. Being able to sit and watch the change in the weather affect the mountains and the loch. We loved the option to fish from the private garden and the house was great and well appointed.

Positive: Fantastic location to either stay and relax or to use a base for travelling from. The views are exceptional. Having the private beach makes the morning cuppa that little bit extra special and a great way to start the day.

Positive: Great location, beautiful view from dining area and from sunroom. Useful utility room. Comfortable bedrooms.

Negative: Having a bath as well as a shower would have been helpful for us with small children, but of course we were aware of this when we booked

Positive: A lovely comfortable cottage. Really enjoyed the view from the dining table across the loch to the hills beyond Edinample Castle. Everything worked well. Nice easy check-in and friendly hosts.

Negative: All was good - didn't want to leave! The village is currently shop-less (despite some of the local signage) but I was aware of this in advance and there's a frequent (by Highland standards!) bus service to Killin or Strathyre and Callander just ten minutes walk away.
