Summary: Exactly as posted. Beautiful views & sunsets. Great access to the water, even including a place to dock our pontoon. Lake has plenty to do, or the opportunity to do very little. Beds were comfy, amenities were plentiful, very thoughtfully hosted. Would absolutely stay again.

Summary: We loved our stay at Kris’s property on Castle Rock Lake. The cabin had plenty of room for us and another couple and was perfect for swimming, fishing, and sitting around the fire pit (there are actually two). Clean and cozy the cabin has a large deck and room to lounge and eat outside on the shade of the tall pines. Lots to do in the area, including hiking, horseback riding, and biking. But we pretty much hung out in the lake, which has a nice sandy bottom and clean water. Kris was super responsive and helpful—a great host! We’ll be back!

Summary: Despite the weather not cooperating and having a couple of issues with our boat, we made the most of our extended weekend. House is nice, deck area is perfect for early morning coffee and evening cocktails.

Summary: This was our first Vrbo experience. We definitely overpacked not knowing what to expect. They had everything you could need for a cabin experience. They even provided bug spray, sunblock, and showering products. Next time we wouldn't have to bring nearly as much stuff (bedding, towels). Only one small hiccup, they accidentally gave us the wrong entry code but it was resolved. We are planning on doing it every year now.
