Summary: What an amazing place! Volpaia is a unique venue, in a beautiful setting and it was a joy to stay there. Our room was lovely- comfortable, clean and with a stunning view- even from the loo! The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good - in short we could fault our stay at Castello di Volpaia.

Summary: Just an incredible place. The staff (especially the cleaning lady and at the bar) went out of their way to accommodate us. The wine is some of the best I've ever had and we will be back again. Calm, quiet, historical and top class food and drink.

Summary: Easily one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. If you're looking for a tranquil escape this is your place. So stunning and the history is amazing. The ONE thing is its tricky to get to if you don't have a car so make you're comfortable with driving before you book. There is free parking onsite though.

Summary: We had an amazing time at Castello di Volpaia, it is truly a hidden gem. Out of all our travels in Europe, this was our favourite stay, it was remote in the beautiful tuscany wine region and we had amazing wine. The food is also amazing at the restaurants, some of the best we had in Italy. I cannot recomend this place enough. What made our stay the best was the staff, they treated us like family and made sure we were taken care of: Lorenzo and Asif were the best!

Summary: Volpaia was a great experience. Staying in a small medieval village was very charming. The interior temp was very comfortable even in June. Max temp outside was 82F but inside felt like 76F with evening cooling down to 70. Not humid. Several dining choices from home-cooking to formal. Centrally located to other towns in the. Chianti region. Staff were great with excellent service and communication.

Summary: So glad we found this gem! It’s an idyllic medieval village with the most stunning views, and the staff made us feel so welcome. They truly cared for their guests and took the time for each one. Plus the restaurants/food options available are unreal and the wine, of course, is amazing - best we’ve had on our trip. Great location to visit any number of other wineries and towns in Tuscany! We’ll definitely be returning!
