Positive: As returning guests, we were once again impressed by this beautiful 500-year-old castle! We learned that Luigi da Porta, a member of the family who built the castle, wrote the original story of Romeo and Juliet. This time, we were also able to explore the original kitchen. It was another amazing experience! Many thanks to Francesca for everything!

Positive: Frigging amazing location, huge bedrooms, fantastically comfy beds, super friendly host, perfectly quiet. It’s a great location to see the local area. The coffee machine was fab, and it was awesome to stay in a castle!!!

Negative: Stand up showers would be nice, but baths with the shower attachments were fine. Access to an iron would also be useful, but I’m nit-picking.

Positive: Great castle with a lot of space, with amazing historical furniture and great atmosphere. It is worth to stay in this great castle and feel the experience of living in the historical castle. Location is very nice, in the center of Thiene, close to Verona, Venice, Dolomites and Garda. Francesca is very friendly and responsive. Thank you for this adventure!

Never in our wildest dreams did we expect to stay in great comfort in a beautifully preserved 15th Century Palazzo in the heart of a bustling town. That's what Castello di Thiene delivers beyond expectation. Francesca is a generous, attentive, and excellent host. Believe the pictures and book a stay. You will not regret it.

Negative: The kitchen is simply equipped, and the electrics are a little old, so you have to hunt out compatible power sockets for a standard adapter

Positive: The accommodation was absolutely amazing! Staying in an authentic castle with a 500 year history was breathtaking. The museum section and the suites exceeded all our expectations. As a historian it was very impressive for me! We were very comfortable with 4 children! The park is also stunning and huge. The parking was also excellent. It was a wonderful experience of a lifetime! And for the kids it was a real fairy tale! Francesca was very kind and helpful! It was an honor to be here! Thank you and we will come again!
