Positive: The property is actually new and very clean!!Pictures don’t do it justice. Have always wanted to stay in a tuscan villa and this property was perfect! The breakfast @ coffee was excellent and lots of choices. Staff was very welcoming and provided us with great service. I highly recommend this property.

Negative: Mosquitos were everywhere in Italy in early September especially in this region so bring mosquito repellent and you’ll be good. Wish the pool would’ve been heated.

Summary: Our stay here was a dream come true!

Positive: The location was perfect. We had an amazing view. We were within walking distance of two great restaurants. Erna and her staff go above and beyond to meet every need -booking dinner reservations, wine tastings and making great suggestions of things to do. The breakfast is amazing !

Negative: Absolutely nothing

Summary: We felt pampered our entire visit. We hated to leave and hope to return!

Positive: Everything was made for you to feel good. every detail was perfect. The host was very nice and she made un upgrade for us. We had an appartment witha magnificent view. She let us have a late check out without charging anything. It was a pleasure from A to Z! We regreted we didn't stay a little bit longer.

Negative: A little expensive but it worths the money!

Positive: Everything was perfect! Wonderful host, could not be more helpful! We decided to add an apartment when we arrived so each couple could have their own. Erna was very accommodating. I loved the room and the breakfast. Washing machine and drying rack very much appreciated! Quiet and simple space to return to after a day out touring the area. And local dinners are wonderful! It was an ideal stop for us!

Positive: Friendly staffs welcomed us. They are so attentive and helpful. Breakfast was great! Building was old but the insight were very nice and comfortable to stay. Pool and Sauna were clean and enjoyable. The location is quiet and surrounded by beautiful scenic view - best area in Montalcino. Nice restaurants are in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay!

Negative: Wasp and bees were inside and out and I got stung by a bee which was very painful.

Summary: The view from the garden where you can enjoy breakfast was breastking!

Positive: Wolfgang and his family were wonderful hosts. He made us all feel so at home in their beautiful Castel. The breakfast had all local produce, with homemade eggs on request and cute cheeses etc. The room felt newly renovated with good pressure showers, comfortable beds with beautiful sheets. The views were absolutely stunning 🤩

Negative: I can’t complain about anything! I would available bikes would be a bonus but there is a place nearby to rent bikes and I think they like to support local businesses !

Summary: Spectacular place to go with a family! We will be back :)
