Positive: We loved the styling. Very clean and real attention to detail. Garden/ outside areas were also excellent. Dog friendly. Excellent parking. Very pleasant welcome.

Negative: Restricted access for dog. Chairs in bedroom uncomfortable. Food choice in the evening was not great and the food was disappointing.

Summary: We really liked the hotel and would definitely return.

Positive: A small and wonderful hotel managed by its very helpful owners, tastefully decorated and furnished and surrounded by rolling farmland. Close by there were several lovely beaches, restaurants and bodegas.

Negative: The bath towels were small (but life's too short to worry about things like that)

Positive: Characterful and very comfortable in gorgeous location, a very handy distance from Santander (for nipping to/from the ferry) and a just a few minutes' drive to a glorious beach. Recently constructed/renovated rooms and shared lounge, set in spacious and tranquil gardens.

Negative: One very small point (which does not affect our rating!): our room overlooked the garden path from parking area. Although there were very effective shutters in the bedroom, the bathroom was not fitted with these and so, at night with the light on - and despite nets over windows - it would probably have been possible for other guests to see in.

Summary: A very comfortable stay, with a very warm welcome from our hosts.

Positive: Beautiful property. Well located for easy exploration of Cantabria. Owners are amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Staff was wonderful as well. Breakfast was varied and delicious with gluten free options. Our dog had a wonderful time as well. Highly recommend!
