Summary: This was the 3rd time I stayed there. This inn is a traditional bed and breakfast, decorated throught with antique furniture. It's very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is delicious and Teresa bake muffins in season as well as cookies which guests can have as a snack. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The boardwalk and beach are directly across the street, and the inn provides beach chairs, towels, and beach tags. There are great restaurants within walking distance too.

Summary: The Cashelmara is the best place we’ve stayed at so far out of all the places we’ve stayed in Spring Lake, Ocean Grove and Avon-by-the-Sea. The staff are welcoming, wonderful, and accommodating! We had a nice sized third floor room (considering the age of the house). Hooks in the bathroom for our day’s clothing would have been nice, as would have been a holder for the bathtub/shower spray hose. The slanted ceiling over the bathtub was inconvenient for anyone over 5’ 5” taking a shower, but it was doable. Delicious made-to-order breakfasts were a good start to our day, and the daily treats were a tasty bonus!! The short walk to the ocean was perfect for my sister who has circulatory problems. Cashelmara has comfortable rockers on the front porch and loungers in the front lawn if you want to relax in front of the lake across the street. We would definitely stay there again!

Summary: The hospitality at Cashelmara Inn is exceptional. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. There were homemade treats in the lobby area each day, brownies and cookies. The breakfast was delicious both days. You can certainly tell their business comes from a place of passion. I highly recommend the Cashelmara Inn.

Summary: Very cute B&B. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was up on the top 3 rd floor. Slanted ceilings, easy to bump you head. We had 2 queen beds. No way could 2 people sleep in a bed; the inside person would bump their head when they sat up. Had to climb over a high tub to get in, and use a spray hose to was up. Lots of towels, soaps, lotions provided.

Summary: When I was a teenager, I used to drive past the Cashelmara Inn and say: someday I’m going to stay there. I left the state decades ago, but I finally made my wish come true. The Inn is beautiful. Walking inside is like taking a step back in time, in the very best way. It retains all of the charm of a bygone era, yet has all of the modern amenities that you could need or want. The bed was so comfortable, I had my best sleep in two weeks of traveling. When we return to New Jersey next year, the trip will include a stay at Cashelmara.
