Positive: On arrival we were greeted by the owners; Beer or Wine? We thought a welcome glass, but received good Italian Brut sparkling wine in bottles. How nice, and very welcome after many hours driving from Holland to the Cascina Pelizza at 7km in the quit hills of Cassale Monferrato. We stayed here for 10 nights with our 13-year-old daughter. The location is fantastic: surrounded by fields and therefore very peaceful. The village with several supermarkets and restaurants is about a 10-minute drive away. Genoa, Milan, and Turin are just over an hour away. The apartment (Ferarri) was neat and clean and equipped with a lovely rain shower, a kitchen with an oven, and a fridge-freezer. There's a lovely swimming pool with sunbeds. And the owners are friendly and very hospitable. Definitely a place to return to!
