Positive: Very nicely appointed place. Clean and comfortable. Stunning views. The pool and facilities are great too. The quality of the food in the restaurant is exceptional. Good breakfast too.

Positive: Fabulous views, pool, garden and restaurant area were full of character - it was a pleasure to hang out there. Good simple food. All staff were welcoming and helpful.

Negative: Our shower was old and the door was hanging off its runner (I understand the bathrooms will be refurbished in November 2025) plus the room was extremely hot and we couldn’t keep the window open as we were above the restaurant patio. Unable to serve a double espresso in anything but a huge mug (which was just surprising for Italy!)

Summary: Once the bathrooms are brought up to date, I would recommend this charming understated gem to anyone.

Positive: Beautiful place to stay, very nice surroundings, brilliant pool, staff always willing to help, they were able to fulfill all my needs, excellent restaurant with amazing local food and wine. I can highly recommend it 👌

Negative: AC would be a great bonus, however the window did a job, so no major problem .

Positive: The location is gorgeous, at the border of the forest, ideal for a walk on the surrounding hills. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna. The swimming pool is lovely but not heated and we didn't dare to go for a swim. We also loved the restaurant with meal created with local ingredients but very original. I had the risotto (Risotto alle castagne, ginepro, coda di manzo e grué di cacao ) and it was delicious! The entire staff from the reception to the waiters at the restaurant have been very nice and friendly.

Positive: An all round amazing experience, the standard and thought put into everything is amazing! I want to say it’s the food, which was amazing but the whole package exceeded our expectations.

Negative: Air conditioning in the bedroom would be a bonus but it didn’t spoil our stay.
