Positive: The property was beautiful Tuscan feels.. the owner was very kind with Wine and cake complimentary.. the property is in a quiet location in the outskirts..hence car rental will be needed The big supermarket is 10 mins away by car.. Lots of restaurants around but all reachable by car.. Beautiful place for a perfect Tuscan Home Feel

Positive: After a cancelled flight leading to cancellation of original booking, then delay to rebooked flight, Francesco and his daughter met us at 1.30am at the property to let us in and show us around (having driven down from Florence). They were so lovely, so helpful with local information, and some bottled water and cake provided! The house is set in a beautiful rural setting, with views to die for over local hills. There is a lovely big, sunny, private garden with seating. The bedrooms are big and bed very comfortable. The shutters make for very dark rooms, so we enjoyed a week of long, deep sleep. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need for self catering. The bathroom is new and the shower is great. Soap and body wash are provided. There is a washing machine with detergents under the outside stairs which is great - can put on at night without hearing it from the house. The house is a 10 min drive to Figline Valdarno which has loads of lovely local cafes/restaurants, a big Coop and Lidl, and 20 mins on fast train to Florence (free parking at the station). Francesco and his daughter were so helpful all week, providing ideas for local trips and always available on whatsapp. I cant recommend this property highly enough, and we will definitely stay next time we are in the area.
