Positive: A stunning 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with a magnificent view from every window. A truly authentic Tuscan villa with everything you need to make this a dream come true holiday. However, it was Tania, our host, who made the real difference. Her attention to detail with beautiful touches, fresh flowers from the garden and delicious treats including a home made plum tart from the fruit in the garden for my birthday. Although there were other guests staying at the villa, we only saw them in passing as the grounds are spacious with plenty of private seating areas with tables and chairs. Sadly, the weather didn’t inspire swimming but sitting by the pool in the afternoon was superb.

Negative: I loved everything. I didn’t want our 12 day holiday to finish.!

Summary: Stop looking, this is it. Tuscan bliss.

Positive: Beautiful and serene property. Our apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for a stay with our baby. We loved relaxing by the pool and seeing the sunset and sunrise from the property. Tania was a wonderful host who was responsive and incredibly helpful while still giving us privacy.

Negative: The beds were too firm for our liking.

Positive: We stayed here for three days. The stone houses are particularly beautiful, and the scenery is stunning, with views of both sunrise and sunset. The houses here are beautiful; although they look ancient on the outside, the interiors have been renovated and are very modern. All the facilities inside are in good condition and very comfortable to use. There is also a large swimming pool, which we enjoyed in the afternoon when the sun was strong. The water was a bit cold, but it was very refreshing and fun. Additionally, a big thank you to the hostess, Tiana, for her hospitality. She gave us a bottle of local wine from Montalcino when we checked in. Getting here is convenient by car; you just drive up. There are supermarkets and restaurants within 10 kilometers, and it's easy to get to other parts of Tuscany.

Our host Tania really made us feel at home, and it's clear she truly enjoys sharing the beauty of the property and surrounding area with her guests. The property is stunning with breathtaking views that look like they're from a painting. Our apartment was clean and comfortable with many upgrades, resulting in a premium feel. It's in a perfect location, allowing for day trips to the south (Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, etc.) and north (San Gimignano, Siena, Chianti Classico region). We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend Casanova di Campriano to anyone visiting the area.

Positive: The host Tania was absolutely lovely, from initial communication. She always replied immediately and helped with recommendations for local restaurants and markets. She welcomed us with a gift which is so thoughtful. Our rental was just as pictured which you don’t often find. Everything was clean, in working order, the beds were comfy. Her husband was always working on the landscaping, they take great care and pride in their property. It was great to have a washer in the middle of our trip. The grounds and views are stunning, we wish we had more time to enjoy it. Caught a beautiful sunrise out of my window, had to run outside to soak it all in. It’s very peaceful and just magical. Would highly recommend! Thanks for a wonderful stay Tania!

Negative: Just a tip, when both showers were being used, one lost hot water so just plan accordingly. And bring face towels if you use, not a common item available in Italy at rentals or hotels.
