Positive: Wonderful place. Very homey, very personal. Operated by the owners. Quiet not crowded place in the close proximity to the scenic N222. Ask about their preferences in surrounding Quinta's, went to Quinta Santa Eufemia. We weren't disappointed.

Negative: Nothing was wrong, everything was exactly like described..

Summary: Quiet town, comfortable quiet stay. Good location.

Positive: Excellent host, really amenable and welcoming. Nice property, with good facilities and nicely decorated. Modest breakfast but with homemade products and seasonal fruits of great quality.

Negative: We had a bit of an issue in the afternoon with the water pressure but the next day it was okay.

Positive: Lovely welcome from Luis and Zulmira and Olie the dog. Lots of help with where to visit. Evening meals are excellent and the vegetarian option was very good, also loved the home made pudding. Continental breakfast was exceptional and set you up for the day. Rooms large and bed comfy and air conditioned. There is a very nice lounge area and patio area. Would we stay again? Absolutely!

Positive: Excellently located for our tour of the Douro valley and Serra da Estrela, the property was immaculately kept with secure parking for three motorcycles, an excellent dinner in the evening, good breakfast and charming and helpful hosts.

Summary: Would have liked to have stayed longer and hope to return. Thank you for making us so comfortable.

Negative: Property was accessed via really winding roads. I booked due to timing/distance to a resto I booked not realizing how challenging the drive would be. 😬. Very homey.

Positive: A family guesthouse that is part of a farm. Warm and friendly attitude, all rooms are spacious, well-equipped, very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast is good and satisfying, the delicious dinner is cooked by the owner. The farm also has a winery that produces fine wine. The price is very reasonable.
