Positive: This house is amazing. All of the details and features of the house are well thought out and executed. The property is laid out in a perfect way to get together with family and friends. The living room, dining room, and the backyard area are all amazing spaces that promote human interaction. Everything is accommodating, and spacious. There was enough space for the 14 of us, with from to spare. The kitchen and the backyard were designed for hosting. The house has huge windows that let a ton of lighting in. The house is located in a gated neighborhood with security, this house in particular is pretty isolated. The house has one neighbor, and a bunch of empty lots and houses under construction. The neighborhood is one of many neighborhoods near the sea in Paracas. The house has its own dedicated parking and we highly recommend you have a car or a way to get around in Paracas as there is nothing in the immediate area.

Negative: We had a few issues with this property and the people managing it. These issues tarnished the experience of staying in this amazing house. Leading up to my arrival I tried my best to coordinate with the host via booking.com messaging, to give them updates of our arrival time, but never got any response. When we finally got to the gate of the property we had no way to get in the house or instructions on how to get the keys. Tried communicating with the number we had from booking and no response. A few hours later one of the hosts messaged me to deposit the money via BCP transfer, but that is something that only Peruvian Nationals or people with these accounts can do. I told them that I can't do that so they passed me another contact, this dialogue happened while I was standing in the front gate with the security guard. Eventually with the second contact I mentioned we can't do this type of transfer but to please let us in and let us figure it out later. He agreed and security gave us the key. Since we arrived late the dimly lit property was a tiny bit uncomfortable for everyone in my group but it's actually a nice neighborhood in development and most lots are empty but parceled out. When we finally get inside we notice that they were not ready to receive us. None of the beds were made and several bathrooms didn't have toilet paper, soap, and there were towels but they looked used. The kitchen area and service room looked lived in. The house itself was clean but it's a bit of a pain to make your own bed and scour the cabinets for clean linen, paper, and towels. We mentioned this to the host and he sent over somebody to clean, who was arguably the rudest person we've ever encountered in the hospitality industry. She not only just walked into the house via the side door without knocking or making known she was there, she didn't greet us, and walked right by us where we were in the kitchen.

Positive: Fabulous property but had nothing there that you would usually expect - no coffee, salt/pepper, oil etc. Had to ask for toilet paper and we had people milling around the property a long time. Would be perfect for a weeks stay but a little less appropriate for one night. Ended up going out to eat at the hotel nearby. Decent enough walk into town.
