Positive: The office staff was personable and friendly. Were able to answer any questions I had. The condo was wonderful. Looks like it had never been stayed in. It was so clean and fresh. Love Sanibel. It was a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Positive: I liked the size of the grounds, the size of the room, and the proximity to the beach. I loved that each room has a clear ocean view and a spacious private balcony.

Negative: Our room needed cosmetic repair, especially the bathroom. There’s not enough covered seating on pool deck. I absolutely hated the broken shells surrounding the units, unable to walk on barefoot without severe discomfort/pain; should be replaced with sand! The cooks at the thistle lodge need better training, the food is subpar for a nice resort.
