Positive: Clean room. Outlets near bed. Good lighting. Carlos was very kind—picked us up and offered to make us dinner. He also dropped us off in a larger town the next morning to save us some time. His home was very quiet.

Negative: No hair dryer!

Positive: Carlos the host was wonderful. Picked me up from the Camino & took me back next morning. Cooked me a delicious Cod dinner. I had an individual cabin type room with doors opening to the garden. Comfortable bed and lovely decor. Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Carlos doesn’t speak any English but we managed to communicate regardless.

Negative: Nothing - however a hair dryer would have been nice in the room. I didn’t ask though so my fault.

Summary: Wonderful host, tranquil setting & delightful room.

Positive: Excellent host who cooked me the best meal that I had all week. The hotel is set in a beautiful isolated allocation just outside town which is easily accessed by a short taxi ride. I would thoroughly recommend.

Positive: Really lovely refurbished farmhouse outside of Lourenza. Carlos picked us up then brought us back into town to see the monastery and have dinner and collected us again. In the morning he dropped us back into Lourenza again. He was friendly and helpful and the farmhouse was very comfortable with interesting old tools preserved downstairs.

Positive: Super friendly host, that picked me up from the camino, later took me for dinner in the town of Lounza, and then back to camino. Everything you need in the room. Very cosy display and dining rooms downstairs (although you don’t get to eat there).

Negative: They don’t serve dinner or breakfast onsite, as I read in previous reviews. Not necessarily a problem, just to mention it. The host took me both to a dinner place and to a bar for breakfast at the time I asked, which was very convenient and caring
