Positive: Spacious and well-equipped house in a quiet village. A great option for relaxing. The kitchen is very well equipped and has all the utensils for preparing meals, which is practical for families and groups of friends. The whole place looks newly refurbished and has been decorated with care. The accommodation is very comfortable.

Negative: For the winter, the rooms had blankets and comforters suitable for the temperature between December and January. However, the 2 downstair bedrooms had no hot and cold air-conditioning. We would have appreciated having an alternative such as a portable heater to make the temperature more comfortable and also help with the humidity. The kitchen and living room were kept warm by using the fireplace but it was not connected to the lower part of the building where 2 of the bedrooms are located. Additionally, you have to consider that the bathrooms in the two suites don't have doors, which is a bit of an inconvenience when you're sharing a suite with someone. Given that the kitchen and the living room are located on top of 2 bedrooms, we expected better acoustic isolation for the bedrooms. The wooden flooring was noisy in the bedrooms. Having in mind that this is a house for up to 9 guests, better acoustic isolation would give all guests more flexibility to enjoy the kitchen and living room while other guests would still be asleep downstairs. We also had occasional problems with a drip and with the water heating for the shower. The host was understanding and available to deal with these issues.
