Positive: Apartment was really big en quite comfortable. The high ceilings and orientation with the sea view on one side from the main bedroom and kitchen, and looking onto the central square on the other side with a view of the mountains is very unique from the 2nd bedroom and the central hall, make it a very unique accommodation. Super close to the bus stop which is very practical and just a 10 min walk to Amalfi. Very good value for money. The hostess Rossella was also lovely and very helpful.

Negative: A (very very light, hardly noticeable) constantly hint of nicotine in the main bedroom, seemingly seeping in from the restaurant or apartment below. But extremely vague so it won't bother most non-smokers (like us). Coffee machine didnt work well at times. Kitchen could have slightly more equipment like cereal bowls. Shower doors bit clunky. Nothing really of major importance. The apartment is still very, very good value for money. What stood out for us more was that Atrani itself disappointed. It seems overhyped as a result of being used a movie location. The village is run down with poorly maintained buildings, a couple of mediocre looking restaurants, and a tiny run down overpriced supermarket. The village and the people, overall it has a very poverish atmosphere. The beach in front of the apartment looked like an off-season construction site with wood and fences lying around. Despite plenty the other villages like Amalfi, Positano, Ravello looking in good shape with clean beaches and facilities looking clean and operational. Perhaps Atrani's weak points are bettter camouflaged in warmer months, although the quality of restaurants and state of the buildings, will probably be the same.

Summary: Big and unique apartment. Atrani itself is run down and overhyped.

Positive: The location was perfect! Atrani is much quieter than Amalfi. Was a bit worried that it would be a lot of noise since the apartment is in the main square, but it was not a problem at all. I would say that the apartment prettier than in the pictures. The view was stunning! Overall loved the place and would definitely recommend!

Positive: This place was so spacious and clean and had everything you could possibly need. It looked out onto the sea in one direction and over the town square in the other. You only needed to walk downstairs to the restaurants.

Positive: From the moment we were warmly greeted and shown through the apartment we felt at home. Quality linen, clean throughout and all the conveniences for a home away from home. Little touches like complimentary welcome drinks for adults and our kids was very appreciated. Right in the heart of Atrani square with magical views over the water! Great black out blinds help for a good sleep in.

Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like. I would just let folks know you will be staying in the heart of Atrani square on the waterfront so be prepared for the full village life noise experience 🙂

Positive: The property was the best location in Atrani. Our apartment had the sea/beach view from our bedroom and kitchen. Only a few minute walk to the beach. Apartment was in the Atrani square. Absolutely best stay in Italy. Very clean, spacious and the hosts greeted us, which I like meeting the host of our stay when travelling. It was easy communicating with them. Bus is nearby, and only 10 minute walk to Amalfi.
