Positive: Beautiful old property with original furniture. Excellent value. Situated right by the city walls in a gorgeous little area of the town. Great garden. Parking convenient. Amazing breakfast. Eat at Jamon jamon next door to hotel.

Positive: The location was central to everything. We loved the history of Casa Picva and all the furniture, art and sculptures, some dating back to the 14th century.

Negative: We had one night with no or mild hot water, but this was addressed immediately. Apparently we didn’t let the hot water run long enough?

Positive: Add on breakfast was exceptional. Beautiful outdoor space with a view over town. 5m to the opening in Castle wall. Perilously narrow streets, and parking included in a town with little parking.

Positive: Amazing location, right at one of the wall gates, so just a short climb and you are in the main street. Private parking, which is a big plus in Óbidos, especially with luggage. Room was big. Price was fair. Host was nice and helpful, with tips for the town and for the trip the next day. He was also happy to store the luggage as we arrived a bit early, and later he placed it in our room. He also helped us with laundry.
