Positive: The most homey place we could've asked for right in the centre of the Chianti region! The photos do not do this place justice - it has a lot of space and a stunning view over the hills, perfect for sunset aperitifs on the balcony. It provided a great location for uncovering the region with our rental car. We were able to go to countless medieval towns and wineries, as well as hikes, a horse ride, and daytrip to Florence, although the Staggia town nearby is small but charming. We were able to take a very short walk to Villa Lecchi for a brilliant dinner as well. Cecilia was very responsive and was even able to return my washing which I accidentally dropped into the apartment below.

Negative: There is no air conditioning - it got hot at night (in June) and mosquitoes would come in with the windows open. Also, unfortunately there was a crying baby in the family staying above us and we could hear it quite clearly.
