Positive: The room was located nicely in the town of Monchique, and we were able to hike directly to Mount Fóia. There is a supermarket nearby too. The room is small, but is comfortable (except for those who may have to sleep on the sofa bed). The kitchen is small but extremely functional and well-equipped. Overall, it was a good stay.

Negative: For bigger groups, there is only 1 toilet for everyone to share. There living room is small, but still ok. The wifi was not good unfortunately.

Summary: Conveniently located, good value for money
