Positive: Casa Maru was a wonderful experience. Beautiful home, probably the loveliest, most attentive host in all of Booking.com, majestic surroundings - truly heavenly.

Negative: We loved the property! Visitors should just be aware that the road to get up there is quite steep and all hairpin turns which can be intimidating at first.

Positive: This property exceeded our expectations! Pictures just do not do it justice! The place is amazing, you have all comforts - Smart TV, dishwasher, sleepers, bathrobes, dryer, beauty/cleaning kits, cleaning supplies, etc.! - and it is tastefully decorated. The house gets cleaned every day, if you want! The outside area is just ideal to relax and enjoy the view, and what a view!! The location is stunning, with the star of the Picos, the Naranjo de Bulnes, staring right in your face! You see the birds flying on top of the picks, you see the lights from Bulnes at night. Just incredible! On top of all of this, its host is the BEST! She is so nice, she helped us with our car, she welcomed us with water in the fridge and everything for breakfast (home made marmalade and locally produced honey!). She really knows the area and she is more than willing to give tips and advices! This property is ideal if you want to explore the Cabrales municipality, la Funicular del Bulnes o la Ruta del Cares.

Negative: Nothing at all. Just keep in mind that to reach the property you'll have to drive on a mountain road, but it is very well maintained and wide enough. The place is worth the effort anyway!

Positive: Beautiful place in a quiet small town uphill with great views on the Picos. The house is very nice, with a lot of attention for details and a nice terrace that we enjoyed a lot. Also the owners gave very useful information on hikes and restaurants, and they provided for nice ingredients to have a good breakfast.

Negative: Only thing to mention is that you need to manage a couple of steep and tight hairpin turns to reach the house by car. We had some difficulty in managing those, maybe due to the rental car, my driving skills or the combination of both. However, it was definitely worth the effort!
