Positive: The house is very traditional build and it looks awesome and the owners are just great people. We could light a fire in the courtyard.

Negative: The only thing that I wouldn't recommend this place is that you can't get any good sleep because the top part of the house (where you actually sleep) has literally almost no sound proofing/insulation and the house is located meters away from the national road where you have cars, trucks drive all night long. So we needed to get extremely busy during the day to get some sleep.

Positive: The property is easy to find, Waze or Google Maps locates it errorless. There were plenty of towels and toiletries. There is an open barn where you can have self-prepared meals in the yard and they are growing, a new building is being built next to the old house. We were welcomed by the hosts’ appointed family and introduced to what can be visited locally, where to eat etc Rooms have sattelite TV (EURO 2020 final was this Sunday) and reception is very good. The kitchen is fully stocked and the hosts are always happy to provide anything extra that you may need or advice about visiting surrounding areas.

Negative: If you go as a full party (we were 2 families, each with 2 children), be prepared to take showers asincroniously to save water. Hot water is generated by a 60Liters basin and that may run out fast😅. It was not a problem for us, but be warned that the property is located next to a highly trafficked national road; so you will be hearing cars all day and all night long.

Summary: Okd Maramures style house retrofited for very good comfort
