Positive: We liked a lot of things about Casa Mangue and our stay: Its located in a great area, not too far from the port with restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy and bakery all in walking distance. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and nice. comfortable beds and a bonus hammock, big bathroom, hot water, air condition and TV. The area itself has lots of green. One of the best things about the property was the host, who was super friendly and a great guide to Soure and the surrounding area, providing us not only with practical tips and contacts, but also with lots of insights and stories. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: Fantastic stay on beautiful Marajó.

Positive: Beautiful, well-maintained complex with a variety of different rooms, well secured, in a mostly quiet area. Clean. Very nice and helpful receptionist (Cris). Good air conditioning.

Negative: Uncomfortable bed, uncomfortable pillows. The foam mattress sinks more and more throughout the night. All of the bedding is made of thin polyester, which feels very unpleasant to me. Very limited breakfast (selection and quantity), which is not served in a breakfast room, but individually in the entrance hall of each room (balcony), sitting on a stackable plastic stool. It is unpleasant to have breakfast there, as the heat is there already in the morning. There are no chairs or tables in the rooms. There are no chairs in the entire complex, only plastic stools and a bench. (I visited several rooms.) There is no room cleaning, no towel change, no waste disposal...
