Positive: We were moved to Ginestra, an apartment in the main house on our second day. This was airy, tastefully decorated, and had the advantage of an outdoor terrace. Had we been booked into this apartment from the beginning my review would have been higher. It is well appointed, quite central, it has two bathrooms and everything worked fine in it. I also appreciated Michele's advice about taking the road south out of Buggerru, rather than going back up north on the SP83 to Guspini, which is quite the challenge with its two mountain passes and twists and turns.

Negative: Initially we were shown into a separate apartment, Corbezzolo (two bedrooms apartment on Booking.com), which is not part of the main house, but a few houses up the road. That apartment looked very new and newly decorated. But the second bedroom on the ground floor doesn't have any windows to the outside, only a small hatch to the main living room. It also doesn't have its own A/C unit. We couldn't sleep the first night in the downstairs bedroom, it felt very stuffy and overheated. I let Alberto and Michele know of our difficulties, and to their credit they did offer us the possibility of moving into Ginestra the next day. I wouldn't recommend staying at Corbezzolo with 4 people, though it may work for a couple. The double bedroom upstairs seemed very comfortable and has its own A/C unit, very necessary given the apartment only has 3 velux windows.

Positive: The host - Michele was very friendly and helpful. The check in process went very smoothly and our needs were accommodated. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped, clean and new furnitures plus good beds. I’d highly recommend to stay here.
