Positive: We booked this property last minute as we had been let down with another booking. The host was amazing in preparing our rooms at short notice, offering us food when we arrived and making us feel welcome. The breakfasts were freshly prepared with fruit and eggs from the gardens, and fresh bread and croissants. Again the host was happy to serve the meal at whatever time suited us. The views from the terrace were beautiful.

Summary: Sicilian hospitality at its very best!

Positive: The spirit of an Italian village with both Etna and sea view is indescribable - you should feel it personally. Unbelievable hospitality of old senior Gaetano, which at every minute was joking with us and was so helpful! And imagine, a deep night (2 a.m) leaving house and even so late he prepared for us a kettle of coffee ☕! We had flight ✈️ at 6 am, but Mr.Gaetano came personally to the gate to hug us, shake hands and say farewell..

Negative: Narrow Italian streets, a little bit of a complicated route from autostrada. Be careful - one of the "short" ways from Mascali-Nunziata to Mr. Gaetano house is closed because of ground slides. (Navigation 🧭 sometimes is stupid thing) Take the way to accommodation through Saint Alfio only.
