Positive: We arrived by car using the directions and check in instructions Diogo sent us a day before. Everything was excellent- easy check in, clean , spacious room, very comfortable king size bed and pillows. The room design is very modern and nice- reminds a 5 star hotel indeed :) It has everything you need, and if you need something( like wine glasses or a bottle opener) - Diogo is right here, in the cafe downstairs to assist you in your needs. The location is perfect if you prefer quiet nights and good sleep to night clubs and touristy hustle. Breakfast was more than satisfying - they have bread, pastry, eggs, and ham, salami and cheese, yogurts, fruit, fresh juices, coffee and tea. More than enough for a normal person. WIFI worked perfectly. Parking was easy, the access road is a normal national road.

Negative: Absolutely nothing to complain about. I wish we could stay longer :)

Positive: David was very kind and welcoming when he checked us in—he’s the owner and made sure we had everything we needed. The Airbnb is a lovely, peaceful place in a quiet area with beautiful views of the mountains and nearby homes. The rooms are modern, spotless, and very comfortable. A great little stay!

Positive: The host Jeronimo is outstanding. Everything about this place is on the level of 5-star hotel. Great location in friendly and quiet village. Mini-market and cafe are downstairs. Perfect place to stay during Douro river trips.

Positive: Everything about this property was exceptional - comfort, cleanliness, location, amenities, breakfast, WiFi, parking, and most especially the host (Diogo). The property is surrounded by vineyards and our room was amazing, with a view of the vineyards from the room and the attached private terrace. The room was large, well laid out, with an extremely comfortable bed, very nice closet space, a desk and a large, comfortable bathroom. The host could not have been more helpful from our first interaction to our goodbye. His recommendations for everything from restaurants to tastings to viewpoints were amazing - we had meals we never would have found without his help. We really feel as if we made a great new friend in Diogo. We were also lucky to meet his wonderful mother who runs the cafe next door and made us feel as welcome as Diogo did - it is a wonderful family. We have traveled the world staying at all types of properties, from the most luxurious to simple, and this one will stand out in our minds forever. This was the best stay of our 3 week trip! We are already missing being there and hope to return very soon.

Positive: Diogo was an awesome host, and provided helpful recommendations for the area. The breakfast was excellent, it had free parking, and the room and general area were very quiet. It was a great base for exploring the Douro Valley.

Negative: My wife would have appreciated a hair dryer in the room.
