Positive: The owners are nice, the location is good -10min walk to the centre. The garden is nice, the kitchen is equipped for cooking .

Negative: The room is quite dark Sometimes people talk in the garden till midnight, so it is difficult to sleep. Sometimes smoking in the garden - which is smelly even when the window is closed. You don't really have privacy there, it's a small place but it's nice to sit in the garden. The owners are nice and available when you need something. There is a cat there too, which is important to know If you are allergic.

Positive: The staff was super friendly and helpful. They are living here as well, and they make us feel at home. They have the sweetest cat and a very nice garden. The place was very clean and spacious. Walking distance to attractions and not too noisy. I really enjoyed staying here and can definitely recommend!

Positive: Very beautiful house with a couple of rooms surrounding a nice courtyard. Purified water is provided on the kitchen. The host could not have been more helpful, even organised the tour for us for the cheapest price we found anywhere. Amazing value for money!

Positive: The room is big, clean and nice . The bathroom is nice and big . Some details missing like a bed light which did not work ( but there was another working ) , the soap was poor . For the rest the room was very welcoming for a good price . The staff available to provide extra service ( information and so on )

Positive: Casa Flor de Vida had hot water. After getting the overnight bus from Oaxaca, I greatly appreciated this! My room was ready before official check-in so the host allowed me to check-in early. The facilities were good - there was a garden, kitchen and a common area where people could relax. I also liked that in the common space there were leaflets and other literature to provide guests with helpful information about tours etc.

Negative: The wifi could be better as it was patchy in places and the host could provide shower gel for guests. I was also waiting for some time for someone to let me into the property, despite knocking and messaging the host numerous times.

Summary: Great location, hot water - overall a good experience

Positive: One of our best stays! Great location, nice garden and a very friendly and flexible owner! The room is also quiet big, and the shower always had hot water a good water pressure. Loved everything.

Negative: good to know is that there's usually music playing at 7 am, I think it's the neighbours. But it's pretty peaceful music to wake up to :) :)

Summary: 10/10 best place to stay! Garden is a plus!
