Positive: The room was spacious and lovely. We had the Cielo room which had a dramatic ceiling. The staff was helpful and friendly. The artwork in the room and hallways was impressive! Breakfast was wonderful, outside in the courtyard. Just lovely.

Negative: The room was too dark, even with all the lights on.

Summary: Comfortable, friendly, beautiful.

Positive: The hotel was perfect for me and my family's stay in Cholula whilst visiting my son. It had lots of character and the location was great. The leisurely breakfast in the terrace courtyard was lovely with plenty to chose from. All staff were very friendly and attentive too :-)

Negative: Nothing negative, but small improvements I would suggest are that the lighting could have been brighter around the sink area and the addition of a full length mirror would have been good.

Positive: Breakfast was really good, even if it is just eggs made in four or five different ways. Room was very spacious and delightful. The property is well appointed and nicely decorated. The hot stone massage was really relaxing. People are nice, cleaning is superb. Nice quality coffee in the room. The temperature of the pool is perfect.

Negative: I must say it would have been better if ALL menu was available for breakfast and not with as an upgraded price. I think you can add the $100 to the room rate and offer ALL menu items. I think if one visits this hotel ANY other time of the year it would be better, but it was so hot I could not sleep well, as none of the rooms have AC and the fan is too noisy. The shower has a temperamental water problem: it is either too hot or too cold. The first two nights were so peaceful and quiet, the last night we had really noisy neighbors that did not respect the quiet time; there are always idiots in hotels no matter how nice the hotel is. The pool is too small, probably just for decoration.

Positive: The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Cute breakfast courtyard; enjoyed eating the yummy breakfast there every for the 2 mornings we were there. Bed was very comfortable; nice size room; quiet locaton. The hotel was very close to everything.

Negative: The rooms were dark and had a bit of a musty smell. There was no window in my daughter's room. My room had an upper side window in front of the bathroom, which faced the floor of a communal lounge area. My daughter walked by and easily saw me inside; not a nice feeling to know someone can easily see me from the outside as I use the bathroom so I kept window slightly open, just enough to remove some of the musty air inside. An update is needed in the common area and in the bedrooms.
