Positive: It’s a very well organised chalet, with all the basics at hand. Very clean, huge open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. Big sitting area outside and plenty of parking space. The view to the lake and the hills is gorgeous. Very quiet area, disrupted only by the distant cowbells. Due to lack of light pollution, star gazing is a must! As a bonus, we ate recently collected eggs from the two very productive chicks.

Negative: Nothing really! Not a fault of the property in itself, more ours if anything, there are millions of bugs in the garden. I should have brought better protection, like a spray!

Positive: The location was excellent. Free fresh eggs from the chickens in the Coop. Lots of space for the dog to wander around safely. Plenty of room in the house. Amazing views. I would go back for the views and for our happy dog. We loved the area so much we are thinking of moving to the area from the costa blanca.

Negative: We could not use the pool, too many bugs in it. No cushions for the outside seats. We used the foam that was in the house with towels over to sit outside. No kettle or toaster and no basics like salt pepper sugar coffee oil etc. If we had known before we left we would have brought our own from home.

Positive: I liked the welcome instructions sent by the host upfront, the host was very responsive and caring, self-check in was perfect and we liked the location. Very nice surroundings. Even if we had rainy weather our whole stay, the walks to and around the dam were calming and very nice. It was quiet there, peaceful, of course we liked the chicken in the garden. We loved the fireplace, large parking space right next to the bungalow. We liked that each bedroom had its own shower and toilet. We also liked the additional electrical heating which was very useful during the chilly and stormy days and nights. Large terrace with pool (well we did not use it as we were there in November). Washing machine and large fridge comes handy so you do not need to go shopping every day. Cordoba reachable in 25 minutes roughly.

Negative: I understand the facility is not exactly made for this period of time but....I think few things might get fixed to increase the comfort of living also for summer months. First, there is a mold at the outside corner of the shower in master bedroom suggesting water is slowly leaking there. Overall, sealing in the showers and showers itself would appreciate thorow cleaning and re-sealing by professionals. For our stay, the mixer of warm and cold water did not function well. First, you had super hot water and within a minute the water went cold. Than we had to close the taps (valid for all showers and kitchen sink) and start again to get at least some warm water. A bit of a zen excercise and very annoying when we were showering in chilly weather or washing the dishes (there is no dishwasher). Next thing which I personally think it is a hazard is, that the iceland in the kitchen is movable! There are visible wires and pipes and water armatures attached to it underneeth the whole iceland but, one adult can move the kitchen iceland easily off its place and damage the joints between the pipes and wires....strange. The kitchen is very small so do not assume you can cook a lot comfortably. Microwave is totally outdated and placed on top of the fridge a bit uncomfortably. And, a lot of small things which came to annoy me as we were staying there: wobbly dining table and uncomfortable dining chairs. Woobly clothes hangers. The whole layout is unpractical. I would do a standard L kitchen with cabinets along the wall, no iceland. Couch should face the nice view with amazing sliding doors and fireplace. Dining table should not be in the most dark corner - there should be some storage or utility things. Last but not least, the additional electric heaters (there were 2: one of them luckily worked but was dirty and full of dust and the other one did not work). And the beds and mattraces and mattrace covers deserve to be more cleaner. I hope many of these things can be fixed.

Positive: Great place, quiet, peaceful, only 30 mins from Cordoba city centre. Lovely landscape all round, very few tourists. Very spacious. Great sofa. Fresh eggs from the chickens. Just had a wonderful relaxing time, two friends and my dog.
