Summary: This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. If we ever go back to Portugal, we are staying at this ranch again.

Summary: Perfect retreat in Gerês. ( ) Very friendly welcome, a family with dogs and goat. Comfortable bed, convenient location, well designed houses, cozy room and pool. (-) Water with low temperature. Shortage of power sockets.

Summary: This off-the-beaten-path property is a wonderful Portugal experience. The host is responsive and friendly. This is a relaxing, comfortable place to enjoy the quiet countryside. Someday we'll be back!

Summary: Incredible stay, with a lovely couple running the place. Churchill the dog is adorable and his goat companion too! Lovely room, with a great pool. Hammocks and great places to sit and have food at night Lovely and rural to explore the local countryside Highly recommend a stay!

Summary: Amazing place in the hills. Small villages closeby. The accomodation has a pool and good wifi. It has place for just a few people so no concern about overcrowded places. The owner is really nice and helpful. She has sweet dogs and a goat who thinks she is a dog. Very sweet.

Summary: special place hidden in the winding roads near Geres national park, great place to stay the night in a rural environment. Marta was lovely and so accomodating, and the cute little goat on site made our day ;)
