Positive: The Villa is spectacular, private, spacious, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Its in a peaceful location, very close to a beautiful traditional Portuguese village, with cobbled streets, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The garden with it's fountain and the mountain views are breathtaking. The pool area is well equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and other shaded seating areas, perfect for relaxing with a good book. Kal is gentleman and a very attentive host, always available to answer any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the future.

Positive: Loved the rural location. The villa provided plenty of space for large gatherings. The infinity pool was clean and a good size. Lots of outside shade. Outside pool shower. Spacious bedrooms with shutters. Separate A/C in each bedroom. Lovely surrounding gardens. Birds and wildlife.

Negative: No shallow end to the pool for small children. The bed mattresses were not very comfortable. Fridge/freezer too small for large family gatherings.

Summary: A very enjoyable stay with a charming and helpful host.

Positive: The property owner, Kal, was very easy to communicate with. He massaged in advance with details and was on hand when we landed with the property address. He met us in the villa and talked through all the things that we needed to know.

Summary: This was an exceptionally spacious villa for 9 of us. The large swimming pool is the star though!
