Positive: Very warm and nice proprietors. I felt very welcome the minute I stepped in. I was informed the kitchen closes at 7pm so I pre-order my dinner and told them what time i would like to eat. I was assisted with my luggage to my room. My friends dropped in for a drink and breakfast. Very homely and I would recommend staying here.

Negative: Nothing but it will help if the kitchen didn’t close so early.

Summary: Homely, warm and kind proprietors. Service with a heart.

Positive: I really enjoyed the Camino spirit at Casa do Horreo. After walking 20km it was a very nice oasis out of the rain.

Summary: It’s was nice and quiet after staying in albergues.

Positive: The owners are a family of the jolliest and loveliest folks! The place is right on the Camino but, unlike many places, has a sense of understanding and care for what it is to be a pilgrim. They love the Camino and cherish the people who take the way with the spirit of adventure, love for Galicia, Spain and the journey. It makes all the difference. Of course they are inundated by hoards of walkers seeking coffee and beer but it still manages to be an oasis. Can’t recommend highly enough! Also the food was perfect!

Positive: The pension is right on the Camino! It is a lovely place. I want to do the Camino all over again so I can stay here!

Negative: The church! It is about 0.8 km away, so if you want to go to mass, plan to walk another mile round trip to church.

Positive: We were graciously met by the proprietor and he s son Pablo when we arrived. They were so friendly. The place is right on the trail, you can wash and hang your clothes. The room was clean and spacious. The food was so good. Highly recommend!

Positive: We stayed here while doing our Camino. Casa do Horreo is so lovely. It is located in a small,beautiful village. The staff upon arrival and throughout our stay were so lovely and accomodating. They are excellent. The building is beautiful. There is a small bar/restaurant area, an outside area to sit/eat/drink, and there is a lounge area inside with boardgames. Our room was fab. So much bigger than we expected. Beds were very comfortable and we got a great nights sleep. The shower was great. We were supplied with towels and there were sachets of shampoo and shower gel. Would recommend staying here.

Negative: Would have been lovely to have breakfast included in the price.
