Summary: The owner helped and supported us for a year before we arrived. He was magnanimous, available and resourceful. We could have spent 7 times what we did on tours. Max knew how to guide us. It was an unforgettable vacation.

Summary: The house has a beautiful view of the ocean - literally steps away from the water. Beautiful neighborhood to walk and explore. We stayed in the house with 6 adults & 2 small children. Here are the pros & improvables. Pros: Insane location with amazing ocean views. You are on the water. A short walk (like 2 minutes) to a swim spot, benches to sit and relax. The town & Market is a short drive away. The house is center to the rest of the island - very easy freeway access. The house is clean & the house cleaners were extremely lovely. Always felt very safe in the neighborhood. The kitchen is well organized. Lots of towls & bed linens available. Cleaning supplies & washing machine also available. The pool is massive with lots of loung chairs to enjoy. Fun grass area for the kids to run around. Great communication with the host. A little challenging to get a hold of once we landed, but it all worked out. Tons of outside seating on the porch. A great welcome with homemade liquor! Impovables: The beds were rock hard. Only one queen bed, the rest of the rooms were twin beds - very uncomfortable for couples to sleep in. With all the beautiful windows that we wanted to keep open but the flies were everywhere - no ceiling fans (or any fans in the house) to move the air around. This would have solved the fly issue and being hot inside. The cookware is well used and the lower cabinets had a smell that was very unpleasant. The stairs are not kid safe & the shutters on the windows open into the house which is exactly kid head level - had a few run ends with them, so had to keep most of the shutters closed, which was a bummer because of the views. An outside fan would have been great to move the flies around as well - it was hard to enjoy a glass of wine outside without having the flies around. Not enough seating in the living room area to accommodate all of us. All in all, it was a great experience. Very grateful for the ocean views & beautiful neighborhood.
