Positive: Helena’s home is a treasure! A typical Azorian home built with love. The patio with a view of the ocean was breathtaking. The house was spotless and very comfortable and the amenities were modern and in excellent condition. The downstairs living area surrounds you with lava stone and ambient lighting. Helena was a wonderful host. She gave us many great suggestions about the island. She left Azorian bread, cheese, and wine for us.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return when visiting Pico again. Thank you so much Helena!

Positive: It was exceptional in every way. It was a traditional house with modern amenities. It was exceptionally well equipped for comfort. It had a complete kitchen, with everything one could need including spices! Helena made us feel very welcome and did so much research to answer all our questions. Her thoroughness made it so we could relax quickly and enjoy our stay in Pico.

Positive: A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location! Everything was perfectly arranged and we felt so at home and it was so peaceful. Helena, the owner, took care of everything down to the last detail, ensuring we had a fantastic stay. Great, clear, and friendly communication with lots of helpful tips about Pico. We loved the warm welcome with wine, local treats. The cottage had everything we needed, from a great shower with plenty of towels to even laundry facilities. We truly enjoyed and loved our stay.🫶

Positive: Casa do Canal is ideal for holidays. It is located in front of the ocean. The garden is very comfortable and permits to dinner outside. You can rest comfortably there and appreciate silence and the peace of the place. The house is fully equipped and very nice. It has the typical style of the house in Pico. It has huge black walls and red doors and windows. We could not find a better location !

Negative: Onestly, I do not have any suggestions. Our experience was fantastic.

Summary: My stay was very pleasant. After two weeks in hotel, I really appreciated to stay in a house .

Positive: Everything about this place is excellent. The location is great, the house itself so cosy, the host is really attentive and it is a real home from home. We could have stayed here for a month we were so happy even though the weather was awful. Honestly there is nothing about this house we did not think was superb.

Positive: The house is just amazing! The lovely renovated lava stone beach cottage feels luxurious and has everything you’d need (there are teas and coffee and the host even welcomes you with a wine, how sweet). We loved the seafront location and late night dinners at the garden with nothing but sea in front of you. The matraces are very comfortable so the sleeping was great.
